It started with selling ready-made glasses from a small pushcart in Manhattan. Ever since MOSCOT has helped define the American New Yorker style.

For more than 100 years, MOSCOT has been faithful to its original designs dating back to the 1920s. The company's founder Hyman Moscot immigrated to the United States from Eastern Europe in the early 1900s. Since then, the company has been run by the Moscot family and is now led by 4th and 5th generation Dr Harvey Moscot and his son Zachary Moscot.

MOSCOT Originals are stylish retro glasses in true New Yorker style, and the design still holds today.

Zachary Moscot is the designer responsible for further developing the new MOSCOT designs. The frames and sunglasses from MOSCOT are unique and authentic. A large, fashion-conscious target group is looking for this particular style.
